What is Gradio?
Gradio lets you wrap a machine learning model or Python function in a web interface with a few lines of code, without writing JavaScript or CSS. It is widely used to demo models and is maintained by Hugging Face.
After installing it with pip, you pick from more than 40 components for images, audio, video, 3D, dataframes, chat and more, and launch an app locally. A share option creates a public link to a demo running on your own machine, and apps can be hosted permanently for free on Hugging Face Spaces.
The current major release is Gradio 6, and Gradio apps can also be exposed as MCP servers so AI assistants can call them as tools. The project is open source on GitHub.
