Chainlit
FreeOpen-source Python framework for building conversational AI apps
What is Chainlit?
Chainlit is an open-source Python library for putting a chat interface on top of your own LLM logic, installed with pip and started with a single command. Developers use it to ship chatbots and copilots quickly without writing a frontend from scratch.
The interface shows intermediate steps of an agent as it works, collects user feedback and supports custom chat components. Apps can be deployed as a standalone web app, an embedded copilot, a FastAPI server, a custom React frontend or a bot for Slack, Discord or Teams.
Authentication covers simple password login and OAuth providers such as GitHub, Google, Azure and Okta. Chainlit ships integrations for OpenAI, Mistral, LangGraph, LlamaIndex and Hugging Face, so it slots into common LLM stacks.
