What is Metaflow?
Metaflow is an open-source framework for building and managing machine learning, AI and data science projects in plain Python. It handles versioning, orchestration, dependencies and cloud compute so workflows can move from a laptop to production.
Flows are written as Python code, developed and debugged locally, then deployed to production with one command. Metaflow versions variables across steps for experiment tracking, pulls data from warehouses and can run steps on cloud GPUs, many cores or large memory. It integrates with other systems through events and works from notebooks.
