These terms govern your use of kitio.ai, a directory of AI tools, and the paid products we sell on it. kitio.ai is run by kitio.ai ("we", "us"). By using the site, signing in, or paying for anything, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What we offer

kitio.ai lists AI tools, GPTs, MCP servers and AI agents so people can find, compare and save them. Browsing the directory is free. We also sell three paid products to makers and advertisers:

Prices are in US dollars. Extra launches are priced per launch and shown before you pay. The first launch starts when your listing goes live; you start each extra launch from your dashboard, once the previous one has run for 7 days. We may change prices for future purchases. A price change never affects something you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a subscription renews at a new price.

2. Accounts

You need a Google account to sign in. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google credentials secure. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

3. Submitting a tool

When you submit a tool you confirm that:

• you own the product or are authorised to represent it;
• the details you give are accurate and not misleading, and the product works as described;
• you own the images, logos and text you upload, or have permission to use them;
• the product is lawful and is not malware, a scam, adult content, or a tool built mainly for spam, scraping, impersonation or deception;
• the product is not, and does not link to or promote, pornography or other adult or sexual content, or gambling, betting, casino, lottery or sports-betting services.

Adult and gambling products are never accepted. If you submit a tool, Featured placement or ad for a product of this kind, we reject or remove it, whether it is caught at review or after it goes live. This also applies to a product that changes into one of these after it was approved.

We accept AI tools, GPTs, MCP servers and AI agents. We do not list products that are broken, unsafe, or only a landing page. A person reviews every submission and we decide what to publish. We may edit formatting, categories and tags for consistency, and we may reject or remove a listing that does not meet these rules.

You keep ownership of what you submit. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize and promote it on kitio.ai, in our newsletter and on our social channels, for as long as the listing exists.

We do not promise any level of traffic, clicks, rankings, sales or search placement. Analytics shown in your dashboard are our best measurement and are not audited.

4. Sponsor slots and Featured placements

Ads and Featured listings are reviewed before they go live, usually within one business day. We may reject an ad that is misleading, unlawful, offensive, or unrelated to AI products. Ads for adult content or gambling and betting are never accepted (see section 3). Links in paid placements are marked rel="sponsored".

When you start checkout for a slot we hold it for 60 minutes. Pay before the hold ends. If you pay after it has ended and the spot is taken (every sidebar slot, or the category or tool page you picked), your ad waits and goes live when that spot frees up.

A sponsor slot is a monthly subscription. It renews automatically each month until you cancel. Your ad stays up until the end of the month you have paid for. See the Refund Policy for how to cancel.

5. Payments, taxes and Dodo Payments

All payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo Payments sells the product to you, collects the payment and any applicable sales tax, VAT or GST, and sends your receipt. Your card statement will show Dodo Payments. We never see or store your full card number.

By paying you also agree to the Dodo Payments buyer terms. If they conflict with these terms on a matter of payment processing, taxes or chargebacks, the Dodo Payments terms apply to that matter.

If you think a charge is wrong, email us at [email protected] before you ask your bank for a chargeback. We can usually fix a problem faster than a dispute can.

6. Refunds and cancellation

Our Refund Policy is part of these terms. In short: all sales are final and we do not give refunds in any case, including when we reject or remove your tool or ad. You can cancel a sponsor subscription at any time to stop future charges.

7. Removal of listings and ads

We may remove or unpublish a listing or ad if it breaks these terms, if the product stops working or is shut down, if we receive a credible legal complaint, or if the content becomes misleading. Removal is not refunded.

8. Third-party content and links

The directory contains information about tools made by other people, drawn from the tools' own websites and public sources, plus model data from Artificial Analysis. We try to keep it accurate but we cannot promise it is complete or current. Listing a tool is not an endorsement. We are not responsible for third-party websites, products, prices or policies. Check the tool's own site before you buy or rely on it.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use the site to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to submit false or misleading information, to upload malicious code, to interfere with the service or its security, or to scrape the directory in bulk or resell its data without our written permission. Do not create fake accounts or manipulate analytics, clicks or reviews.

10. Our content

The site design, code, text we wrote, and the compilation of the directory belong to us or our licensors. You may link to the site and quote short extracts with credit. You may not copy the directory or republish it as your own.

If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright or trademark, email [email protected] with the page URL, what is infringing, and proof that you own the rights. We will review it promptly.

11. Disclaimers

The site and the directory are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or a paid product is limited to the amount you paid us for that product in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing limits your statutory consumer rights where you have them.

13. Indemnity

If you are a maker or advertiser, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and legal costs arising from a third-party claim that your submission, ad or product infringes someone's rights or breaks the law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. If a change is material, we will tell signed-in users by email or a notice on the site. If you keep using the site after a change takes effect, you accept it. A change does not alter a product you have already paid for.

15. Governing law and disputes
