What is Vanna AI?
Vanna AI is an open-source Python framework for building text-to-SQL agents that answer questions about your database. Developers embed it in internal tools or customer-facing apps so users can query data in plain language.
Vanna learns from your schema, documentation and example queries, then generates SQL, runs it and returns tables and charts. Version 2.0 is built around agents with user-aware permissions, so each user only sees the data they are allowed to.
