What is Core ML?
Core ML is Apple's framework for adding trained machine learning models to apps on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Vision Pro. Models run on the device itself, using the CPU, GPU and Neural Engine, so data stays local and works offline.
Developers add a model file to an Xcode project and call it through generated Swift interfaces. Core ML underpins Apple's higher-level Vision, Natural Language and Sound Analysis frameworks, and models trained in PyTorch or TensorFlow can be converted with Apple's open-source coremltools package.
