Coral
FreeGoogle's open platform for running AI models on edge devices
What is Coral?
Coral is Google's full-stack platform for edge AI, pairing an AI-first hardware architecture with developer tools for running models locally on devices. Software developers deploy PyTorch, JAX or LiteRT models, and hardware makers build the design into their own chips.
Models are compiled with standards-based MLIR toolchains and can be tested in simulators before deployment. The goal is efficient on-device inference for low-power products, without sending data to the cloud.
Coralboard and a partner program help hardware developers bring Coral-based devices to market. Documentation and guides are hosted on Google for Developers in many languages, and the platform is open source.
