What is Stash?
Stash is a US investing and personal finance app that pairs managed or self-directed portfolios with an AI money coach for questions about saving, investing and planning. It targets everyday savers who would not pay for a traditional financial advisor.
After a short questionnaire, Stash builds a personalised investment plan and can run a diversified Smart Portfolio with automatic deposits. You can also buy fractional shares of stocks and ETFs, open retirement accounts with a 3% contribution match, and earn stock through the Stock-Back debit card.
Money Coach, the AI advisor, answers financial questions at any hour from inside the app. A single plan costs $12 a month or $108 a year and includes a $10,000 life insurance policy.
