StackRender
FreeVisual database schema designer with AI and automatic SQL migrations
What is StackRender?
StackRender lets developers design database schemas on a visual ER diagram, generate and improve them with an AI assistant, and produce incremental SQL migrations automatically. It tracks schema history and supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, SQLite, Oracle and SQL Server.
You can start from scratch, ask the AI assistant to draft or refine a schema, or import existing SQL to turn it into an interactive diagram. Each change becomes a versioned migration with a matching rollback script, so the full evolution of the database is recorded.
The editor runs as a web app, and the project's code is published on GitHub. Documentation and guides cover the migration-driven workflow the tool is built around.
