What is Cursor?
Cursor is a code editor built on VS Code with AI chat, autocomplete and an agent that can change many files at once. It indexes your repository so answers use your own code. Since October 2026 it is sold through the X Subscription, which also bundles Grok.
You can ask questions about your codebase, have the agent plan and make multi-file changes, and review each diff before accepting it. Existing VS Code extensions, themes and keybindings work as before, and Bugbot can review pull requests on GitHub. Third-party models such as Claude and GPT are billed separately from the plan.
