spaCy
FreeOpen-source Python library for production natural language processing
What is spaCy?
spaCy is a free, open-source Python library for natural language processing, used to pull entities, parts of speech and sentence structure out of large volumes of text. It ships trained pipelines for 25 languages and is built for speed in production systems.
Pipelines handle tokenization, named entity recognition, dependency parsing, text classification, lemmatization and entity linking, and you can train your own models with transformers like BERT or plug in custom PyTorch and TensorFlow components. Built-in visualizers show parses and entities.
The spacy-llm package adds large language models to spaCy pipelines, so you can prompt an LLM for tasks like extraction and get structured results back. spaCy comes from Explosion, the company behind the Prodigy annotation tool, and has a large ecosystem of plugins.
