Salam Chat
FreeIslamic Q&A chatbot with citations to the Quran and Hadith
What is Salam Chat?
Salam Chat is a chatbot for learning about Islam that answers with inline citations to the Quran and Hadith. A filter keeps it from answering questions outside Islam, and the project says scholars are invited to help review and train it.
Each answer links back to source texts so users can read the original passage rather than rely on the chatbot. Curation tools let reviewers mark incorrect answers, which feeds back into improving the model.
It is a volunteer-run, open-source project that says it does not currently earn money, and it accepts donations. A roadmap of further features is mentioned but not detailed.
