Rivet
Freemium · $10/moOpen-source orchestrator for running AI agents as durable actors
What is Rivet?
Rivet runs agents, workflows and sandboxes as long-lived actors with state, realtime messaging and scheduling built in. It is open source and self-hostable, with a managed cloud, and targets developers building coding agents, company agents and per-user assistants.
Each agent gets a durable process whose memory survives restarts, and workflows replay from where they stopped instead of starting over. agentOS adds a filesystem, shell and network for running untrusted code, and durable streams let readers replay history from any offset.
Rivet can run in your own VPC so data stays inside your network, or on Rivet Cloud on Google Cloud in US and EU regions. The site cites cold starts of a few milliseconds and very small memory use per actor, and coding agents can install its skills with one command.
