Quilter
PaidPhysics-driven AI that places and routes PCB layouts
What is Quilter?
Quilter automates printed circuit board placement and routing, producing several fabrication-ready layout candidates in hours instead of weeks. It is used by electrical engineers and PCB designers in semiconductors, robotics, consumer electronics and aerospace.
Reinforcement learning explores thousands of candidate boards, and a physics check validates every trace before results are offered for review. Engineers can pre-route parts of a board and iterate, and the tool works with Altium, Cadence and Siemens Xpedition files.
It suits test fixtures, IC evaluation boards, design validation boards and backplanes, where layout is necessary but not the core work. Pricing is charged per PCB project rather than per seat, with no annual license.
