What is Paperspace?
Paperspace rents cloud GPUs, up to NVIDIA H100s, and runs Gradient, a set of notebooks, training machines and deployment tools for machine learning work. It is now part of DigitalOcean and suits researchers, data scientists and small AI teams.
Gradient covers the usual path of a model: you develop in hosted notebooks, train on dedicated GPU machines and serve the result through deployments. Sample projects in the ML Showcase can be cloned straight into an account, and Workflows is offered in beta for automating pipelines.
Besides machine learning, the same GPU machines are sold as cloud desktops for 3D rendering, simulation and gaming, with single and multi-GPU options billed by the hour or month. The Gradient plans set storage, instance types and project privacy, while compute is charged on top for anything outside the free tier.
