Marmot
FreeOpen-source CLI for AI models, web search and data enrichment
What is Marmot?
Marmot is a command-line tool that gives developers and their coding agents one interface to text generation, web search, scraping, speech and contact enrichment across several providers. Commands share the same flags and return JSON, so they can be piped together in shell scripts.
You install it from npm and chain commands, for example searching the web and summarizing the results, or pulling a PR diff and writing its description. Typical uses include triaging email, briefing a topic, enriching a sales contact and generating release notes in CI/CD.
A single agent skill lets tools like coding agents call Marmot instead of loading many separate integrations, which keeps their context smaller. The project is MIT licensed, and the docs list the supported providers.
