What is Junie?

Junie reads the project, proposes a plan, edits files, runs tests and reports back, using the IDE's inspections to check its work. You can pick a cheaper model for routine work and a stronger one for hard tasks. It left beta in mid-2026 and is included in JetBrains AI Pro and Ultimate subscriptions.
