Freemium · $20/moFrontier coding agent with cloud orbs and pass-through pricing
What is Amp?
Amp is a coding agent that runs in the terminal, editors and the web, built by the team that spun out of Sourcegraph in December 2025. It picks strong models for you and supports cloud environments called orbs. A free daily credit grant covers light use.
Amp threads can be shared with teammates so others see how a change was made. Orbs are cloud machines where agents keep working after you close your laptop, and they pause when idle. Paid plans include agent and orb usage, and extra model usage is passed through without markup.
