IOPaint, formerly Lama Cleaner, is an open-source tool you run locally to erase objects, watermarks and defects from images or replace them with AI. It suits users who want a private, free alternative to online cleanup tools.

A browser interface lets you brush over areas, and models like LaMa and MAT fill them, while Stable Diffusion models handle prompt-based replacement and outpainting.
