Fooocus

Fooocus is a free, offline image generator built on Stable Diffusion XL that aims to feel as simple as Midjourney. It is good for beginners who want local, private generation without learning samplers, steps or node graphs.

You type a prompt and choose from style presets, while the app handles prompt expansion and quality settings automatically. Advanced panels add inpainting, outpainting, image prompts and face swapping. It runs on Windows, Linux and Apple silicon. The project is in limited maintenance and focuses on SDXL rather than newer model families.
