What is Cloud Code?
Cloud Code is a set of plugins for VS Code and JetBrains IDEs that help developers build, debug and deploy applications on Google Cloud. It ships with Gemini Code Assist, which completes code as you type, generates blocks from comments and answers questions in a chat panel.
The plugins speed up work on GKE and Cloud Run through Skaffold integration, create configuration files for Google Cloud services and add templates for Cloud APIs. Remote debugging lets you set breakpoints in code running in the cloud as if it were local.
