What is Agno?

Agno is an open-source Python framework for building agents and agent teams, paired with a runtime and control plane for running them. Developers use it to build fast, model-agnostic agents with memory and knowledge.

Agents can use tools, reasoning, memory and knowledge bases, and teams of agents can coordinate on tasks. AgentOS provides a runtime you host in your own cloud, with a web interface for testing and monitoring. The project was previously known as Phidata.
