Sidekick is Shopify's AI assistant for merchants, built into the store admin. It answers questions about sales and customers, writes product descriptions, builds automations and reports, and can make store changes after you approve them.
Merchants ask in plain language, such as which products sold best last month or how to set up a discount, and Sidekick replies using live store data. It can generate images and copy, create Shopify Flow automations, draft email campaigns and even build simple custom apps.
Sidekick replaced the earlier Shopify Magic tools and is included at no extra cost with Shopify plans. Changes are shown for review before they are applied.
