pixie.haus generates pixel art sprites from text prompts and snaps the output to a true pixel grid, so results look hand-made rather than blurry. Indie game developers use it to create characters, props and walk or attack animations with Lospec color palettes.

Generated images lock to classic palettes such as PICO-8, Sweetie 16 or Endesga 32, or to any palette you import from Lospec, and backgrounds are removed automatically. You can also upload sketches, 3D renders or photos and have them downsampled into clean sprites that match the grid.

The animation tool turns a still character into idle, walk or attack loops, with individual frames editable in a timeline before exporting a GIF or sprite sheet. Image-to-image edits swap outfits, hair or lighting while keeping the pixel structure, and a cleanup step tidies stray pixels.
