What is Photo2VR?
Photo2VR uses AI depth estimation to turn flat photos into side-by-side 3D images you can view on Meta Quest, Pico and other headsets. It suits people who want to relive personal photos in stereo 3D, and a newer Video2VR beta does the same for short video clips.
You upload a JPEG, PNG or WebP, the AI builds a stereo pair, and you can preview it right away in the built-in WebXR viewer or download it for another VR player. Extra tools include 3D motion photos with parallax exported as SBS video and AI upscaling to 4K or more before conversion.
Converted results from other users can be viewed in a headset without signing up. A one-time pack of 10 conversions costs $3, and subscription tiers named Lite, Starter and Pro add private cloud storage of 5, 15 or 50 GB for a synced gallery. The interface is available in English, Japanese and Korean.
