What is CopernicAI?
CopernicAI's Gen360 generates 360-degree panoramic images from a text prompt, as a first step toward fully AI-generated 3D worlds. Creators building VR scenes, game backdrops or immersive environments can view the result in several projections and download it.
Panoramas can be previewed by dragging to look around and switched between equirectangular, Mollweide and little-planet views. The companion copernic360 tool adds depth to make a 2+1D panoramic environment, which can be explored in VR on Meta Quest.
Generated images can be used commercially under the Creative ML OpenRAIL-M license, and a Gen360 API is free for a limited time after signup. The release is an alpha, built on the team's panoramic AI research published at ICLR.
