What is Langflow?
Langflow is an open-source, Python-based visual editor for building AI agents, RAG pipelines and multi-agent flows. Developers use it to prototype quickly and then serve flows as APIs or MCP servers.
Components for models, vector stores, tools and logic are connected on a canvas, and every component's Python code can be edited. Flows can be exported as JSON, run from the API or exposed as MCP tools. Langflow is maintained by DataStax, now part of IBM, and is offered as a desktop app, a self-hosted server and through IBM's watsonx products.
