What is Dify?
Dify is an open-source platform for building chatbots, agents and AI workflows with a visual editor, knowledge bases and model management. Developers and product teams use it to ship LLM apps without building the backend from scratch.
Apps are built as chatflows or workflows that combine model calls, retrieval from uploaded documents, tools and code. Dify supports most commercial and open models and exposes every app as an API. The Community Edition can be self-hosted with Docker for free, while Dify Cloud adds hosted workspaces and message credits for testing models.
