What is Friends & Fables?
Friends & Fables is a tabletop-style roleplaying game where an AI game master named Franz runs campaigns in worlds you build or pick from the community. It uses D&D 5e-style turn-based combat and lets up to six players adventure together.
World builders get tools for lore, characters, maps, quests and one-shots, and the AI absorbs uploaded lore so it can weave it into play. Long-term memory keeps track of past events, and custom instructions let groups tune tone and rules.
Battlemaps, spells and monsters support tactical combat, image generation creates art for characters and places, and text-to-speech narration voices the game master on paid plans. Free players get a daily turn allowance, and friends can join a campaign for free.
