DashVox
FreemiumVoice app for running Claude Code and Codex sessions hands-free
What is DashVox?
DashVox is a voice-first app for controlling AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex that run on your own machine over SSH. Agent output is read aloud and summarized, and you approve steps by speaking, so you can keep work moving from your phone, car or watch.
You can ask for the status of several sessions at once, start new tasks, and hear when tests pass or an agent is waiting for approval. Live diffs are available when you do want to look at a screen. It works with any LLM provider, including Claude, GPT and Gemini.
The iOS app supports CarPlay and Apple Watch, with Android, Android Auto and Wear OS listed as coming. The self-hosted backend is free with no account or limits, while a managed cloud option provides a ready VM with coding agents installed, and an enterprise plan adds SSO and per-seat machines.
