Crit
FreeBrowser review tool for coding agents' plans, diffs and running apps
What is Crit?
Crit opens what a coding agent produced, such as a plan, a multi-file diff or a page on localhost, in your browser so you can comment on exact lines or elements. The agent then reads those comments and fixes them, and you see the changes round by round.
Different review modes cover markdown plans and docs, branch and PR diffs with syntax highlighting, diffs grouped into themed chapters, live running apps where you pin comments to DOM elements, and static HTML artifacts. It works with Git, Jujutsu and Sapling and handles stacked PRs.
Crit writes a structured review file that any agent able to read files can act on, so there is no API or SDK to adopt. Install commands exist for Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Windsurf, Amp and others. It is open source, runs locally and can be self-hosted.
