CourtRules
FreeSearchable judge and court rules with an AI assistant and MCP
What is CourtRules?
CourtRules collects judge-level standing orders, local rules and filing requirements for US federal and state courts, and lets lawyers search them or ask an assistant about a judge's rules. Every rule links to the court's own document, and use is free without signup.
Rules can be compared by topic across courts and judges, such as page and word limits, courtesy copies, pre-motion conferences, document formatting, sealing and e-filing. Tools include federal and court-day deadline calculators and court holiday calendars.
The site also tracks privacy enforcement actions and fines by agency. An MCP server and API put the same rules into a firm's own tools and AI assistants.
