Lexis+ with Protégé is LexisNexis's legal AI platform, combining its case law and secondary sources with the Protégé assistant for research, drafting and document analysis. It replaced Lexis+ AI in February 2026 and is used by law firms, courts and corporate counsel.
Protégé answers legal questions with citations to LexisNexis content, drafts briefs and clauses, summarises uploaded documents and checks citations. A General AI mode lets users pick general-purpose models for tasks that do not need legal sources, inside the same secure workspace.
Recent updates added agentic drafting, collaboration features and a single prompt box that searches across LexisNexis tools. A free trial is available for US users, and full subscriptions are quoted by LexisNexis sales.
