Copyfish
FreeFree browser extension that grabs and translates text from images
What is Copyfish?
Copyfish is a free, open-source OCR extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox that copies text out of images, videos and PDFs shown in the browser. People use it to search, save or translate text from screenshots, charts, memes and paused video frames.
You draw a box around the text on screen and Copyfish reads it with the OCR.space engines, then lets you copy the result or send it to a translator. All three browser versions work the same on Windows, Mac and Linux.
Installing the free UI.Vision XModule2 helper adds desktop capture, so it can also read text from other apps, file menus, presentations, games and PDF viewers outside the browser. OCR language support depends on which OCR.space engine is chosen.
