Bonsivo

Bonsivo takes a photo of a real bonsai or raw material and renders four future styling directions, such as informal upright, formal upright, windswept and literati. It helps growers judge a tree's potential before making cuts they cannot undo.

You photograph the tree from the front with the trunk base and main branches visible, then pick a style, a horizon of one, three or five years, and a presentation format. About 90 seconds later you get a concept set anchored to the visible roots, trunk and primary branches.

Each set includes single images, a before-and-after comparison and a four-up overview, which can be shared with a mentor or club. The first low-resolution preview is free, and further sets are bought as credit packs that last a year.
