What is Agent Development Kit?
Agent Development Kit (ADK) is Google's open-source framework for building single and multi-agent systems in Python, Java, Go and TypeScript. It is used by developers building agents for Google Cloud and Gemini Enterprise.
Agents are defined in code with tools, sub-agents and workflow agents for sequential, parallel and loop patterns. A local dev UI shows events and traces, and built-in evaluation helps test behavior. Agents can be deployed to Google Cloud's agent runtime, Cloud Run or any container host, and they work with Gemini and other models.
