Upstage

Upstage builds the Solar family of language models and document processing engines that turn PDFs, scans and emails into data AI systems can use. It serves enterprises in insurance, healthcare, finance and manufacturing through an API, cloud marketplaces or on-premise deployment.

Solar Pro 4 is an agentic model for tool calling, terminal tasks and long-document reasoning, Solar Mini 4 is a compact model with 3B active parameters for high-volume work, and Syn Pro is trained for Japanese. Document Parse converts complex documents into LLM-ready text, and Information Extract pulls key-value data from invoices, claims and contracts.

Upstage Studio is a workspace for building and running AI agents around document workflows. Models can be bought through the AWS, Azure and Snowflake marketplaces, called directly through the Upstage API, or run inside your own infrastructure.
