What is StitchCraft?
StitchCraft turns a photo, or an image generated from a text prompt, into a printable cross stitch chart matched to real DMC floss colours. Embroiderers can set the grid, fabric count and palette size before exporting a PDF pattern.
Photo conversion is free and runs in the browser. The pattern lists DMC thread codes with substitutions and stitch counts, shows a stitched preview, and checks finished dimensions for your Aida fabric. A smaller palette makes simpler projects.
The AI prompt-to-pattern mode uses credits, at 8 per run, sold as one-time packs valid for 180 days or as subscriptions. Paid options remove the watermark, allow unlimited PDF and PNG exports and include a commercial licence. The site is available in six languages.
