Shadow
Freemium · $8/moBot-free Mac meeting assistant that saves notes as Markdown
What is Shadow?
Shadow records and transcribes your calls on a Mac without joining as a bot, then stores each meeting as Markdown files you own. A keyboard shortcut also lets it act on what is on screen, such as drafting a reply or voice typing.
It starts and stops automatically with a meeting, labels speakers in real time and grabs screenshots of shared screens. After the call, Skills run prompts you can edit, for example meeting notes, a BANT breakdown, action items or a follow-up email.
Because files are plain Markdown, they work with Obsidian and with AI agents, and webhooks can send transcripts and Skill results to other tools. The free plan has unlimited transcription, recording and screenshots; Plus adds unlimited AI features.
