Serifu
Freemium · $5.99 one-timeBrowser-based AI translator that letters manga pages in their bubbles
What is Serifu?
Serifu translates raw manga, manhwa, manhua and comics page by page and places the translated text back into the speech bubbles. Readers and scanlation hobbyists drop in a whole volume as a folder, CBZ, ZIP or PDF and read the result in the browser.
Pages are sorted by file name, segmented, read and translated with the model chosen for the project, then lettered into the original bubbles, including vertical Japanese dialogue. A desktop app adds font and size controls plus a retouch tool that removes text from banners and artwork and sets the translation in its place.
Pricing is per page with credit packs that never expire, and the cost of a page depends on the model used. Pages that fail are refunded automatically, and the service skips adult content rather than translating it.
