Scale AI provides human-labeled data, reinforcement learning feedback and model evaluation for AI labs, enterprises and governments. It is one of the largest data labeling companies and runs a global network of expert contributors.

The Scale Data Engine combines labeling software with managed workforces for images, video, lidar, text and complex reasoning tasks. It also produces public leaderboards and safety evaluations for language models.

Scale GenAI Platform and its defense work help organizations build and test their own AI applications. Meta holds a large minority stake, but Scale operates as a separate company.
