Rex.fit
FreemiumAI calorie tracking from a WhatsApp chat or a wearable
What is Rex.fit?
Rex.fit logs meals from photos or text messages sent in WhatsApp, and is developing The Drop, a wearable that uses computer vision to record what you eat. Health-minded people use it to track calories, protein, fat and carbs without manual entry.
In chat you can send a picture of a meal or simply write what you ate, ask for a workout suggestion, and get nutrition coaching aimed at goals like weight loss or muscle gain. The Drop is offered for pre-order as an automatic nutrition tracker.
A B2B API lets gyms, fitness chains and wellness centres add calorie and nutrition tracking to their own apps. The site also offers a free meal plan with ingredients ordering.
