FreeFree background remover that runs entirely in your browser
What is PngBG?
PngBG removes image backgrounds with an AI model that runs locally in the browser, so photos are never uploaded to a server. It is free with no credits or signup and pitched as a private alternative to remove.bg.
Processing uses WebAssembly and WebGPU on your own device and usually takes under a second per image. It handles hair, fur and semi-transparent objects and keeps the original resolution.
You can upload JPG, PNG or WebP files up to 5 MB, then download a transparent PNG or place the subject on a custom background. Use cases listed include e-commerce, car listings, real estate and design.
