Onison Whitespace Tool
PaidAI background replacement for print-ready product photos that keeps CMYK
What is Onison Whitespace Tool?
The Onison Whitespace Tool uses AI to swap the background of professional product photos for white, a set color or transparency, and adds drop shadows. It keeps the CMYK layers of the original file, which matters to retailers and catalog teams preparing images for print.
The tool is trained on product shots that need clean white space, so it is aimed at catalog production rather than casual photo editing. Drop shadows can be added automatically after the background is replaced, saving manual retouching on large batches of images.
It is part of Onison's web-based digital asset management suite, which also covers brand management, web-to-print, automatic catalog production and product information management. Using it alongside that suite lets edited images flow straight into catalogs.
