What is Molted Email?
Molted Email gives AI agents their own mailboxes and screens every incoming message for hijack attempts before the agent reads it. Developers running support or outreach agents use it to stop strangers from steering an agent into leaking data.
Suspicious mail is quarantined and only a human can release it. Outbound rules block duplicate sends and first contact with new people until approved, and agents can run a dry run to check whether an email would go out. Incoming mail arrives labelled as structured data.
Agents connect over MCP, a CLI or a REST API and can set up their own inbox from one prompt in tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex. Pricing is per mailbox rather than per email, and every plan gets the same security features.
