What is Langfuse?
Langfuse is an open-source platform for tracing, evaluating and managing prompts in LLM applications, which you can self-host or use as a cloud service. ClickHouse acquired it in January 2026, and the MIT-licensed core and cloud plans stayed the same.
Langfuse captures traces through SDKs and OpenTelemetry, tracks cost and latency, and supports evaluations with LLM judges, user feedback and datasets. Prompt management versions prompts and serves them to your app.
The cloud has a free Hobby tier and paid Core and Pro plans billed by usage units, with no per-seat fees. Self-hosting the open-source version is free.
