LANDR Composer

LANDR Composer, which grew out of the Orb Producer plugin, generates chord progressions, basslines, melodies and arpeggios as MIDI inside your DAW. It helps producers start songs or break creative blocks without needing music theory.

You generate a progression, then edit, move and refine individual chords with a chord guide and a piano roll. Assistive MIDI generation adds bass, melody and arpeggio parts, with modifiers for polyphony and humanization so the performance sounds less mechanical.

The plugin syncs with the DAW's tempo and lets you drag MIDI patterns straight into a project, while preset sounds help audition ideas. Scenes and a song mode organize parts into longer arrangements. It can be bought on its own or used through a LANDR Studio subscription.
