Keep It Shot
Freemium · $8/moMac app that renames screenshots with AI and indexes them for search
What is Keep It Shot?
Keep It Shot gives screenshots and other media files readable names using AI, then builds a local search index so you can find them by keyword. It is a Mac app for people whose desktops fill up with unnamed captures.
For each file it generates a new name, runs OCR, writes a short description and extracts keywords. Renaming can be batched in two clicks or run automatically on new screenshots, and any rename can be undone.
Search runs offline from the local index. The site states images are not stored by the service. It also renames PDFs, Excel and Word files and videos, with credits consumed per file.
