K Health combines an AI that takes patient histories with clinicians who provide virtual care. It started as a consumer app for chatting about symptoms and seeing a doctor online, and now also supplies AI intake and PatientGPT tools to health systems.

Patients answer questions in a dynamic intake chat, and the AI summarises symptoms, history and likely conditions for the clinician before the visit begins. Its tools integrate with EHR systems, so health systems such as Cedars-Sinai can use them for both virtual and in-clinic visits.

K Health trained its models on large sets of anonymised medical records, and partners pay for the platform through enterprise agreements, while consumer virtual care is offered as a paid membership.
