fwd2cal
FreeForward an email and get a Google Calendar event back
What is fwd2cal?
fwd2cal is a small AI assistant that turns forwarded emails into Google Calendar events. You send a thread to its address, and it extracts the date, time, location and attendees without you typing anything into your calendar.
Signing up is done by emailing the service, after which you get a link to authorise your Google Calendar. You can add several email addresses to one account, so work and personal mail can both feed the same calendar.
The site says emails and events are processed by AI but not stored, and that only your own email address is kept. It names Google, OpenAI and Resend as subprocessors, and the source code can be inspected.
